Court Supremacy

do you know that brownie building opposite Funan the IT mall is the Supreme Court of Singapore? I got to know it today also.. no big deal la... now you know then next time pple ask you, you would know how to direct them there liaoz lor... good rite?

went with sunny and dajie to visit the supreme court.. it looks very futuristic.. dajie even commented that it was suitable for some high end burglar movie... perhaps jackie chan could consider borrowing it from CJ.. haa

so we went to Court 4D to hear Huang Na's case... when the judge entered the court, he bowed to us and took his seat, we bowed to him back.. i was quite stunned because the judge of supreme court actuallie bowed to us first.. wah.. quite sey bin (hokkien: prestige) for commoners like us.

actuallie.. the case wasnt as interesting as what we saw in the drama serial.. it's very boring in fact... when the prosecutor asked question, the witness just answered "Yes.. Your Honour" then when there was a request to admit and enter some evidence to the case, the lawyer would then ask "Your Honour, May I... blah blah... " then the judge only answered "Yes..."

today was just the presentation of evidences to the judge.. i reallie admired the patience and detailedness of these legal officers... even taking photographs for an one item would be so leh chey (hokkien: troublesome)... one item take until like 4 different perspectives lor.. wah sey... so ma fan.. but this is something that is really for me.. well.. i'm someone who likes to be so 'extra'... haha... so maybe i should go and become paralegal or ask CJ and other judges to employ me as their personal asst hor... haha.. bo liaoz....

the case was reallie so boring.. dun understand why some pple got the 雅兴 to spend so many days rotting in the courtroom just to kaypo abt the case.. even the judge also kept rubbing his eyes, machiam he didnt sleep well the nite before.. dun noe wat he was doing oso... in a nutshell.. being in the courtroom is NOT very fun and not very glamourous as well la...

then wanted to go sit in for the parliament sitting.. haiz but we're not appropriately dressed so cant enter into the parliament house to hear the debate... so disappointing..

nvm.. still got other opportunities.. who knows i could be participating in debates next time.. haha.. who knows...
