Eight Steps to a more Satisfying Life and Happiness

To God be the Glory!!

1. Count your blessings

Count our blessings, one by one…big & small…day by day and we will realize that we have been blessed with so many things. Thus, we won’t be too bitter about our trials and turbulences every day.

2. Practise acts of kindness

Simply be nice to all people!

3. Savour life’s joys

E.g. good meals, relaxing holidays; don’t be at a rush to spend this life that our Father has given us.

4. Thank our mentors

Mentors shape our values, beliefs and they make a difference to our lives.

5. Learn to forgive, Let it Go, Delete!

This applies especially towards the people who hurt us. Do we want to hurt them back and carry this bitterness on our shoulders? Very often, these people don’t even realize that they have hurt us! Thus, why do we want to spend so much mental and physical efforts to get bitter when they don’t even know?

6. Invest time in friends and family

God gives us these social groups to enhance our lives; faithful friends and family who will accompany us to our twilight days!

7. Take care of your body [physical, mental and spiritual health]

Physical health à exercise and eat well! Remember our body is the temple to our holy spirit!

Mental health à worry 1 day at a time, trust in the Lord by giving our worries to Him and trust in Him to give us the wisdom to settle our worries.

Spiritual health à feed on His Word.

8. Plan and anticipate our crisis and hardships

Jesus, Himself, also anticipates and talks about his death day to his disciples. Thus, it is not wrong to prepare ourselves and anticipate crisis so that we can handle them better when they come.

How can our faiths keep us going to counterattack any crisis and hardship that comes along?

How can we prepare ourselves to anticipate the crisis and hardship?

May the peace of the Lord be with you!
