Eventful Week!

An eventful week, packed with activities, reflections, laughters and tears..
The week started with CNY Celebrations!!
Then on Wednesday evening, Chun Rong and I watched an excellent local production by Jack Neo: I not stupid too..
It is a movie with rich message on communication between parents and kids, dealing with underdogs in society, second chance to people who made mistakes... A message that penetrate through all strata in society. Everyone from all walks of life MUST watch this movie.. Do remember to bring along your inhaler (if you have asthma) and packets of tissues to wipe your tears.
Great job to Jack Neo and his team!
Then I had a 'counselling' session with "reverend" spidey on my issues... and catching up.. Thanks brother spidey for your time and encouragement. =)
I am also gearing up on my DOH to complete my 60 days challenge of online bible study at settingcaptivesfree! Jiayou for me!! =)
I did my DOH Day 16 at Pacific Coffee, it was so coooolll.. =) Then I went for teaching of God's Word through Bro. Francis Khoo at Covenant Vision Centre (CVC).. It was a good worship and sermon.. Very ministering.. =)
On Saturday, Marie treated me and Brother Richie to a local theatre production Broadway Beng starred by Sebestian Tan and directed by Selena Tan. I think we got very good seats.. Thanks to Sister Marie for the expensive tickets.. Wow.. It was such a very very very very very very hilarious and enjoyable performance!!
But caution: might not be suitable for people who barely understand hokkien (a local dialect).. Laughed until I almost got my asthma attack.. hahaha.. =p
Then went to Serene 姐姐's place for cell group reunion dinner.. Enjoyed the dinner very much.. Haha 姐姐 told me that the western cuisine was prepared just because I said I wanted it leh.. Wah.. So Sey Bin (so proud and honoured, in hokkien).. Haahaa.. oppss carried over effect from Broadway Beng.. haha... I must say 姐姐 puts in alot of effort and time in prepapre this dinner for us.. Thanks 姐姐!! Thanks Wilson korkor and everyone else for fellowship.. =) Drank quite abit and forgotten to take a pic with this baby boi of Brother Ralph and Sister Daphne.. hee..maybe next time then..
Might not be able to meet them so often le cos my support group programme is resuming this thursday and I would be excusing myself from cell group meetings for a period of time. But I will still have fellowship with them at CVC every Friday to partake God's Word!
At night, I had a long chat with Brother Cam.. Hee.. Talked a fair bit of nonsense not to the extent of unedifying but quite unlike us.. Cos we're quite serious talkers (at least with him) you see.. haha.. anyway.. hard to imagine right? Haha.. Thank God for the wonderful time of catching up since Bro Cam returned to KL for CNY last week.. Hee..
Today is Holy Communion Sunday. PMC's congregation shrank abit arh.. Where did the people go? haha.. Aftermaths of CNY feasting is it? :p
Alot of self-reflection ah, we PMCers .. Well I pray for Holy Spirit to convict the congregation to be more sensitive to the prompting of the Spirit and move in one Spirit of the Living Christ. Very lukewarm... It is quite a big contrast from that of some other churches I went, for example, Church of Our Saviour, Hope of God, Covenant Vision Centre are much more Spirit-led.. Hmmm.. I pray that there must be a balance struck in any church..
Of course, I must qualify that how people worship God is not the only determinant of God's great works and manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ.. BUT I just feel that PMCers really need to work abit harder cos I've been seeing a drop in temperature at PMC.. (^^)
The worship team at PMC is there burning with passion for Christ but the people are really quite cool... Oh man.. Jiayou le.. PMC!! =)
