National Service
I'm serving my remaining 3 months 12 days national service at HQ 9 Division/ Infantry (Selarang Camp) Centralised Motor Transport Company (better known as "CMTL") . It is quite a "switch-off" camp thus far. Stay out unit. My officers, inches (warrant officers), senior specialists, fellow specialists and men are pretty cordial. First day of work (Monday), got half day off because it was DIVISION Off Day.. Nice nice..
I've a NTU EEE friend, Alex who happened to serve in the same unit with me as "disruptee sergeants". That's what we termed ourselves. He also participated in the Global Immersion Programme Shanghai with me, but I didnt know him (he knew about me).. Hahaha.. Opps.. High level of exposure huh..
Got rumours that the unit wanted to post one of us to TUAS, we almost fainted 'cos we stayed in the east.. Thanks to Master-Sergeant Loh for keeping us in Selarang at least until SAF Day is over (July) till then see how the Lord leads again la! =)
I'm glad and thank God that He has allowed me to remain in Selarang Camp instead of going back to Tekong Camp (further than Selarang, poor management and stay-in). Now I've much more time to do reading.. Lunchtime is 2 HOURS (1130 - 1330), 1 hour of tea-break (0900-0930) and (1530 - 1600) daily.. Get to go for LIFE run every Monday, Wednesday, and other LIFE activities such as jogging and badminton on Friday.
Although NS life got alot of things which I seriously cant stand, my prayer is: the Lord will plant more godly Christian men and women in the organisation to reach out more and more lost souls in this very large organisation in Singapore. I am not afraid to say this, but alot of ministry work has to be done at caregroup/cellgroup, ministry and local church level to equip more and more men and women to be God's ministers to make disciples in SAF and beyond.
My Prayer
I pray that all kinds of strongholds (smoking, vulgarities, abuse of system, hypocrisy, power-hunger, power-abuse and everything against the standard of the Creator God) come tumbling down in the Powerful and Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! The Spirit of the Living God just hover and move in the midst of all men and women in the organisation to know and do the will of God. I pray that men and women will exercise godly standard and godly authority and the right kind of manhood and to be true soldiers of the nation and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray that all servicemen and women (especially those with authority) genuinely care for their men under their charge and guide them to be men of good and noble character, to be conformed more and more into the image of the Lord Jesus Christ moment by moment, day by day. Be gone the hearts of stone but hearts of flesh shall reside in every person, that all are acceptable to the Gospel of God's Kingdom and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
I seal this prayer with the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, shed at the Cross of Calvary, for all humanity, past, present and future. In Jesus' Most Loving and Saving Name I pray, Amen.
God's Man of Influence - Living a Life of Lasting Impact
I am picking up reading. Thanks be to God for the long lunch break and I managed reading a book within 5 days! Wow!! Got alot of time for reading during these 3 months.. =) Thanks be to God! Book accomplished: "God's Man of Influence - Living a Life of Lasting Impact" by Jim George.
It was a wonderful book on manhood, blessed by Sister Huifen as a Christmas gift last December. Now then got time to read. Really it's in God's perfect timing. There are really alot of outstanding issues on manhood I need to work on, in partnership with God.
This afternoon, after my swim, I went to buy another book titled "Man after God's own heart" by the same author (Jim George). It was really a very impressive and blessed reading material. Very much Word-Based and I just felt the Lord stirring alot of emotions and issues in my heart as I was ministered by both the books. Another 5 days, I could finish reading it again.. Haha.. =)
Bible Reading (Genesis to Revelation)
Don't worry, I didnt forget the most important God-inspired Book for all humanity! haha.. I am embarking on reading throught the Bible, cover to cover, during these 3 months. =) In fact, this is one of the most frequently mentioned thing to do in Jim George's writings. Yes, we've to keep our eyes focused on the Master, the Alpha, the Omega, the Author and Perfecter of our faith - my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Healing Rallies
Last week, I was away roaming in town from Living Hope Methodist Church to Bestheda Cathederal to Church of Our Saviour. Learnt a great deal from Reverend Kobus and witnessed more than 30 people (mainly old folks) got healed of crippled-ness or wheelchair-bound. Praise be to God. I'm sure in weeks to come, as those people who go for their medical check-up will have their cancers undetected. haha..
Because our loving Heavenly Father has healed them all when we called on Him in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. When God is with us, signs and wonders followed, and when signs and wonders followed, God is with us, the power of God is with us.
Healing and Salvation are not only for youngsters. Old folks (those in the sixties and above) are dearly loved and touched by the Grace of God! =)

God want ALL His creations, you and I, who come to believe His one and only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to enjoy the fullness of His blessings prepared for us even before the foundations of the earth is laid. Do you know that?! Amen Amen Amen!
I saw the power of God and I also learnt from a brother from AMK Methodist Church and was affirmed that the Lord is moving greatly in Singapore with a Pentecostal Movement even in the so-called "Traditional" Churches such as the Methodist Churches. With all respect, I dont mean that that these churches havent been doing much, what I meant was that we are moving in greater magnitudes and dimensions! Praise be to God.
Divine Exchange and Wholeness (DEW) Ministry
According to Sister Huifen, our home church Pentecost Methodist Church has endorsed and the person-in-charge has registered for us to the DEW Ministry. DEW Ministry enable people to be set free from hurts and bondages so as to restore people to wholeness and function, enabling them to rise to leadership and destiny. I thank God for the opportunity and I pray that God will bring me to wherever He has destined for me to serve Him and His people.
