Finally I did them proud!

Thank God! I graduated.. haha..

After so many years, I remembered this as the first time my dad congratulated me upon my graduation when I presented him my degree certificate.

I remembered.. During PSLE, Dad was absent although I did okay, only Aunt Irene was present with me. Then I was very hurt. GCE O Level, my result was not too bad, managed to make it into Temasek Junior College, dad didnt affirm me. Hurt again. Then GCE A Level, I made it to University, dad still didnt affirm or say a word of encouragement..

But finally, today, he extended his hand and congratulated me for my completion of my education. I was very moved and touched. I felt so loved although Dad didn't sound loving but the words he spoke were coated with love.. :")

Although it's not First Class Honours but at least, it's still something I think he could be proud of.

Thanksgiving to God my Father

I thank God for many things throughout these three years:

1. Bestowing me the Gift of salvation through Jesus Christ - I received Christ when I was in Uni Year 1 through the brothers in Choices Ministry and Campus Crusade ministering to me.

2. Seeing me through 20 over projects with Dajie and many other wonderful project mates

3. Seeing me through many late nights doing project reports and presentation slides

4. Gaining supernatural favours from professors and peers

5. Overseas attachment in Shanghai

6. Blessing me with a loving roommate Eugene

7. Seeing me through many late nights of loneliness when Eugene moved out and I'm all alone

8. Seeing me through my examinations

9. Bestowing me wisdom to answer the examination questions appropriately

10. Many many more blessings He gave me..

Without my Father God, my parents, benefactors (aka Mummy, Aunt Seah, Uncle Leonard and many other relatives supporting me financially), Brother Calvin, Brother James, , other brothers, Sister Huifen, Sister Serene and her family, Dajie, Brother Eugene, Daniel Huaqing, Adeline, Jamie, Angeline, Sam, Prof Quazi, Prof Cheryl, other Professors and many many other people in one way or another..

If I am in anyway successful, glory is God's. All glory, praise and honour be unto the Father God through His Son my Lord Jesus Christ. :)
