Great Thanksgiving

No word in this universe could express my heartfelt thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and all the wonderful things He has bestowed upon Pentecost Methodist Church.

Today is Pentecost Methodist Church's English congregation's first Alpha Introduction Dinner. 157 people attended this event. We're overwhelmed by the love of the Lord. Seriously, we didn't expect such good response. 44 have indicated that they will be coming for the actual course...... AND two of them are my beloved 二姑(AUNT IRENE) and cousin Yanjun!!!! Praise the Lord. Thanks Aunt!! =)

All glory, praise and honour be unto my Father God!

Not by might, not by power, but by the power of His Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Indeed, if today is of "success", the success is truly the Lord's!! Amen.

Thanks Dad, Mum, Grace, Xueliang, 大姑, 二姑, 小姨, Cousin Jenny, Cousin Yanjun, Cousin Zhijun, Cousin Jianjun, Cousin Kaiqiang, Cousin Kaikang, Brother Gary Yan, Brother Ziming, Sister Felicia, Sister Abby, Sister Esther, Brother Calvin (Joyce's younger borther) and many other friends for being there with us tonite.

Joyce (Huifen) and I are very very happy and honoured to have more than 20 friends and family members with us. But truly, if the message of the Lord speaks to them, we'll rejoice even more. I know it's because our family members and friends love us, that's why they're with us tonite!

Many more beautiful gatherings to come and the good Lord bless all of you and in His perfect timing, you'll respond positively to the good news of Jesus Christ and receive Him into your lives as personal Lord and Saviour. :) I claim this gift of Salvation for each and every one of you present at PMC in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.

To my dearest 二姑:

May the message in the book speak to you about your life. Thanks for supporting me and being there for me, my dearest 二姑. I love you, dear Aunt. This GOD who has given me healing and bring reconciliation for me with dad, I'm sure this same GOD shall do the same for you and your family. GOD'S BLESSINGS BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

To my Choices Brothers:

Thanks for praying with me for my issues and struggles this afternoon.. I was very down but my spirit was lifted by the Lord later on. Thanks!! :) Hugz.

Special thanks be to the following people. They are simply lovely.

1) God for everything in Alpha!!

Father, this event is planned for Your Holy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ! He is the one and only Alpha and He shall be the one True Omega!

Praise be to God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. :)

2) Alpha Man and Lady - Brother Justin and his newly wedded wife, Sister Yvette

3) Alpha Administrator Sister Yoke Lin for putting so much time and effort in the admin and planning.

4) My welcome team mates - Brother Cheng Guan, Sister Joyce, Sister Margaret, Sister Irene, Sister Laraine, Sister Gloria, Sister Ruby. They are seriously great team to have. =)

5) The Refreshment and Admin Teams - Brother David, Sister Guna, Sister Joan, Sister Lina, Sister Ching Chun, Sister Annie, Sister Ann Nee, Sister Angie, Sister Jessie, Sister Jennie, Sister Slyvia for the wonderful and sumptuous buffet dinner, ushering and assisting in helping out the welcome team to play host to the guests.

6) Mr Lee, our Church Caretaker and the Assistant Caretaker of PMC - if not for their wonderful and selfless services, the place would not have been kept so clean and neat. I thank God for both of them!

7) YMPact - esp to Brother Shane and his team - the superbly youthful Youth Dancers in our Church. A team to behold, energetic for the Lord. I must commend their beautiful and YMPactful performance this evening. :)

8) Song signing team - the performance was great, not because I'm in it.. hehe.. but because of the following men and women - David, Ziming, Joyce, Felicia, Abby for time spent to rehearse and the beautiful performance tonite. Believe me, it does raise alot of awareness for people who know little about sign language and the hearing impaired community.

Thanks especially to Joyce for coming up with this beautiful song - When You Believe from Prince of Eygpt and it's a very non-Christian song with Christian meaning in it! =) Thanks also to her effort for coordinating the chereography and rehearsal. :)

9) All the PMC participants and guests attended the dinner tonite. You're the STARS of this event, and it's for you, we have this event! :)
