A week passed so fast..

It was just so shocking to see that a week has passed by.. time flies..

Two more weeks to see my Pink IC again.. :)

Today during service, Ps Aaron preached about Purpose Driven Life... Well, perhaps it's time for me to reflect on what kind of life I would want to live for the Lord. Today, I felt truly worshipping the Lord. It has been a long time since then..

Update of the week

This week was a normal week except that I finished a book on Intercessory Prayer -- I had so much insights to prayer. So blessed. May the Lord continue to lead, coach, equip, and develop me in my prayer life with Him. :)

It was also my younger Sister's birthday, I met up with Anneh on Thursday afternoon, then went to COOS for Choices Support Group Session 2 in the evening, Stream of Praise Ministry Worship Concert (Hillsong, Don Moen equivalent in the Chinese Praise and Worship Arena) on Friday at Paya Lebar Methodist Church, had alot of durians on Saturday afternoon just before gym, went to gym with Brother Calvin on Saturday evening, attended Sunday Service, attended Alpha Meeting, and gave my cousin a good "lecturing" for not putting in effort for his maths revision just now.

Younger Sister's 21st Birthday

It's my sister's 21st Birthday.. so fast.. grow up liaoz... hahaha.. we had a simple celebration at home.. Sis didnt want to spend alot of money. But we did have good time together. :) Welcome to Adulthood, my sister. God bless you with many joy, love and peace ahead.

Baptism and Membership

Today, I submitted my Baptism and Membership form to the Church. Actually I had not told my parents about it but I do hope that they would give me their blessings. :) It may be a Christmas Baptism. :) See how the Lord leads.

Alpha Course -- It's time to grow up!

It's interesting to know that Joyce and I would be facilitating a group of teenagers during this Alpha first run. They age from 13 - 19 years old.. challenging. I used to be a baby Christian in my many settings. Be it in Support Group where I have all my korkors looking after me, caring for me, and in cell group, I am one of the youngest being under the wings of many other matured Christians. Well.. it's time for me to grow up BOTH in the Lord and in my own natural self.. haha.. not getting any younger.. 24 yrs old.. almost spent a quarter of my life in this world. :)

Chinese Praise and Worship

As I am trying to equip myself to reach out to my parents and other close relatives who understand Mandarin better.. As I'm equipping myself and worshipping God in Chinese during the Stream of Praise Worship Concert on Friday, I just sensed that Chinese Worship ministers alot alot to me.

For example,

In English, we say: God who was, who is and who is to come!

In Chinese, we say: 昔在,今在,永在的 神!

Wow.. the usage of Chinese Word to translate the above statementis just so beautiful! :) Anyway, both are good and ministering to us, why? Because it's the same God, same Christ, same Holy Spirit at work! Amen. May the Lord continue to equip and prepare me to reach out to my family! :)

Reconciliation & Ceasefire

It warmed my heart to see that Lebanon and Israel agreed to the UN resolution to cease fire. :) Praise God that lives could be preserved and some peace could be established. So many lives were lost.. How precious are lives to the Lord.. May the Lord grant wisdom to the leaders of all the nations in the world to come to love and care for their people.

May these leaders and their people come to know the One True God who sent His One and Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to bear our sins to the Cross of Calvary, and through His Saving Grace and completed work at the Cross that we could be reconciled with the Father and have VICTORY over darkness, over sins and over death. Glory be to God.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

Christians, may we keep praying and continue to share the good news of the Lord's Kingdom with the lost so as to fulfil the Great Commission.

Thanks be to God who empower us to do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
