Childlike Faith

Daniel - The University Champion. haha..

Daniel and darling little Brian

Is Baby Brian smiling or crying?! Smiling of course with me hugging him.. hee.. oh well... who can resist my hugs.. =p

Me posing with the Christmas Tree.. hee Doesnt the Christmas Tree look much better with me complementing it?! Haha..

This boy is simply adorable.

Great time spent with him. I praise Father God for blessing this boy with a heart of gold. He is simply adorable the way he said grace, simply so adorable.

He is one of these kids who is very sensible and knows truly how to share gifts graciously with people around him. It is awesome to see how the Lord uses a very young boy like little Brian to teach me about sharing and giving..

I praise the Lord for this boy. Esp when he said that Praise and Worship song unto the Lord at Starbucks this afternoon (out of the blue one leh.. no one told him to sing, he just sang so happily) I give thanks and praise the Lord.

How many of us, adult Christians, would have to reexamine our hearts towards the Lord. We need to have that childlike faith in Jesus.

May Brian dwell more in the Lord as he grows up day by day, eventually be raised by the Lord to love the Lord and serve His people with all his heart, mind, soul and strength. Praise be to the Lord.

Lord, this is my prayer request unto You!

This reminds me of a rewrite I did for the hymn "Abide in Me". I drew on the teaching of Jesus in John's Gospel and this is what I came up with....

Abide in Me
And I abide in you.
Alone the branch
can never bear its fruit.
I am the vine,
you are the branches mine.
Come quickly to the vine and fullest life you'll find.

When you do not
Abide from day to day.
Your branches wither
and they're thown away.
Cast in the fire
To smolder and to burn.
Come quickly to the vine and start to learn.

You chose me not
I chose you for myself
To go bear fruit,
fruit that's full of health.
The world will hate you,
so they hated me.
Come quickly to the vine and you'll live free.

Merry Christmas brother Daniel.
