Third Sunday of Advent Season

Pastor Jonathan was saying that today is the 3rd Sunday of the Advent Season – Church Year starts off with the season of Advent and this means that we’re approaching Christmas – a time of thanksgiving and celebration!!

I praise God that Brother Eugene came to Pentecost Methodist Church aka my Church to worship God and listen to what the Lord has. I just think that today’s sermon by Pastor Aaron is meant just for Brother Eugene. Sister Huifen, Sister Michelle and myself each utter a prayer under our breath for the Word to minister to Brother Eugene’s heart. Lord, all over to You!

Actually, the Word also ministered to my heart. For me, I need to be like Virgin Mary when Angel Gabriel told her that the Lord will use her to give birth to our Lord Jesus Christ. Despite all the difficulties which she might face, she obediently accepted the Lord’s instructions and said “Be it unto me”. Yes indeed, be it unto me, let Thy will be done. Lord Father, help me to be obedient to You despite suffering and struggles. For Lord, You’ll walk me out of the valley up onto the mountain cliff and use me to do Your will but first, let me clear up my issues first and be equipped in Your Word. =)

Then Brother Wilson, Serene 姐姐, little Brian, Brother David, Sister Huifen, Sister Michelle and myself went to an eatery adjacent to Siglap Center, called 福林酿豆腐. The lunch was so great!! Thanksgiving and praise be to You O Lord. It was definitely a great time of fellowship and feasting.

Met Laura LLL on the train towards City Hall, hee… I really think that she is a nice girl and really look blur blur one… hee… so cute…

I went over to Tiong Bahru Plaza to meet Bro. CR and Bro. Rich. Meeting CR to gym and it was a great time gymming with him. Really, I think he makes a great gym kaki. I look forward to more gym sessions with you.

Had a great chat then met Brother Linus and Brother Rich for dinner at Harbour Front and jalan jalan. We had a great time of fellowship. Thanks brothers. =)

Then Brother Rich drove me home and I had a long chat with him – almost more than 3 hours I think. Wow! We really can talk ya… Just this one thing for you Brother, hang in there… As Bro. Cam mentioned, you’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, all you need is to respond to the Lord and partake on His Word. Take up that step of faith to have quality time of devotion with Him and yes… I think you’ll flip about this one: Deposit everything into your bank account, honour your blank cheque to the Lord and allow Him to encash everything. This is the Lord’s desire for you, act, obey, trust and be still, knowing that He is God and He is working in you, with you and through you, He’ll be glorified.
