Reunion Dinner 2006

This year, I am so thrilled to be back to have dinner with my family in Singapore again as I was absent for Chinese New Year because of my overseas attachment in Shanghai. =)
Last year, Mum told me that Dad decided to scrap off steamboat reunion as he said the family was not complete without me.. So touched to hear tt actually.. hee.. =p

Some Decoration outside my house to CNY-ish the festive mood! =)
The Red Banner is not my idea =p but I think it looks quite nice.. haha.. =p
The good looking gentleman on my right is my dear 表哥 (cousin) Jeffrey.. He happens to come over for our first round of reunion steamboat dinner & later, I hopped over to 大姑's (Elder Aunt) place for my 2nd round of reunion steamboat dinner.. *fat*

This is the picture of the partial foodies we had for reunion steamboat!! Nice nice.. =)
I enjoyed having charcoal style of steamboat-ing.. so traditional.. =)
Prayer for Chinese New Year
Heavenly Father, I thank you for being such an awesome God and your grace and mercy for allowing me and my family to gather in this manner to enjoy some nice and warm family time. Of course, help us to understand that this shouldnt be just be done on Chinese New Year only, allow us to enjoy more family dining time together whole year round. This is my prayer request. =)
Father God, I pray for Your forgiveness upon my parents', my sister's and my sin against you. I pray for my parent's and my sister's salvation. I want to also bless them with good health, safety at work and peace at hearts in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. I plead for the precious and saving blood of my Lord Jesus Christ to be upon my mum, my dad and my sister, in Jesus' Loving Name.
Father God, I also want to pray for you to place mature Christian men and women to be in their midst to share with them the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that Father God for your Holy Spirit to soften their hearts so that my family will be able to be touched by the gospel of Christ and eventually receive Jesus into their lives as their personal Lord and Saviour.
I thank You Lord for the wonderful family You've blessed me with. Lord Father, I will continue to walk in the obedient walk, narrow and straight, pleasing and honourable to You! Lord God, I plead for the precious blood of Jesus to flow in me, and ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in my heart so that I could be sanctified to be more and more like Christ each day. Father God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Help me to walk in obedient and with faith in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' precious and loving Name, amen.
To God be all Thanksgiving!

Happy New Year! May it be filled with much Light and Love in Jesus.
Thank you for the great pictures and the tutorial (for us white yankees who don't have a clue on how to properly celebrate!)
You have a lovely family. (and the food looks GREAT!)
