Seven Things about me!

After reading Daniel’s blog entries on “7 things about me” and at the invitation of Sam and Daniel, I’ve finally decided to spend time writing this entry of 7 things…

Anyway, NUMBER 7 is a very often used number in Bible, nice… so I decided to start writing!!

7 things that scare me...
Lizards – hate THEM to core, especially with them in my hostel and now alone. Every time got to check out and BANG my toilet door before closing because they always have rendezvous behind the door... hee…

Cockroaches – they are jerks! The hatred for them is no less than those for the lizards!!

Other flying insects – they always come to my hostel room and my own room at home uninvited!! Then I will have to ask either roomie or mum to help me usher them out of my comfort room.

My sister!! She always sits in my room, without turning on the lights, happily talking on the phone. Every time I step in, will always frighten big time! Humpf

Loneliness – I am very scared of loneliness yet sometimes I just yearned to be alone.. so contradicting right? Isn’t this just a very humanistic way of life.. haha..

The idea of taking plane alone and having to travel to a place on my own. Although I love to do it, but the idea of that really freak me out big time!! But I know that day will come

Heights – I really scare of heights. That’s why I’m staying at 2nd storey all these years.. haha.. spurious relations!

Blogging for the Lord!

Spending time alone at café esp Pacific Coffee (my favourite hang out place in town)

Cycling alone –especially along East Coast =) The experience is just fantastic beyond description

Swimming alone – BUT definitely not the cruising and distraction I get at the pool though... haha

Spending time alone roaming around in bookstores

Brother Cam Yew’s Balcony – new hunt… but not accessible all the time… hee… if the Lord will, I wish to get an apartment with this wonderful scenic and windy balcony for my family! That’s all I yearn for in life. Haha…

Spending time talking to people around me to understand more about them, their lives and their families. Help out in any way I could or just b****h around. Haha… okay, I’m not an antisocial person k!

7 random facts about me...
I am a Christian by faith and worship the Holy Trinity which is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, the Godhead Three in One. God is the Father who is Love in essence. I constantly seek the Father’s forgiveness for all my sins and profess that Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour and truly believe in the power, works and communion of the Holy Spirit.

I have a family with a daddy, mummy and a younger sister with a beautiful name – Grace. =) Really hope that by the Grace of the Lord, my family would come to know and receive Christ soon!! =) Now, even my dad and mum, although not supporting but not obstructing my faith and I am very thankful to God for that.

I am a 24 year old Singaporean who is quite supportive of the PAP government. Brother Richard also said I am very patriotic. He is right. In fact, I am proud of Singapore. Both Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong are my role models. Having said this, I am not supportive of all the policies that Singapore Government has, at least not for the Casino issue but I know what the Lord has for Singapore about this through Brother Francis Khoo. We just have to keep the nation and the Government in prayers.

I know the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary Structures of Singapore Government at my finger tips which impresses my good friend Daniel and roommate Eugene very much. Hee…

I have a few benefactors who I am greatly indebted to. They are my parents of course and several loving relatives who see me through my university education and overseas exchange programme financially and morally. If not for them, I wouldn’t be able to be study in a university.

I am an undergraduate in Nanyang Technological University. I study Business and specialize in Human Resource Consulting. I endeavour to be a Christian HR Practitioner. a minister of Christ at the marketplace providing counseling on work-related, family-related, personal-related issues to friends, colleagues, brothers and sisters in Christ, and anyone the Lord places in my life for me to help.

I like Queen Elizabeth II very much too.. perhaps because I dream of being a Prince myself.. anyway I do follow up with the Royal Family happenings quite closely. She is visiting Singapore this year!!! =)

7 things I plan to do before I die...

Visit a few places like the Lake Louise in Canada, Alps in Switzerland, and find a place that is called ‘end of the earth’ (天涯海角) – I saw this movie titled 天涯海角 and it is in northern part of Scotland.. it is a cliff..

Walk out of my issue, get married to and start a family with a lady whom the Lord has arranged for me and of course, I would love her =)

Obtain postgraduate degree in Theology / Divinity and research into the Trinity

Start a Café to sell the best cheesecake in town =p

Tell my dad I love him

Confess all my sins to the Lord and ask for forgiveness one more time.. So that I confirm can land up in heaven.. *joking* haha

Write a book about my life that will bear witness to the great works of the Lord and hopefully be an inspirational and evangelical material to those who read it. =)
