Walking at MacRitchie Tree Top

Today I had a very pleasant time with Chun Rong.

Had a late lunch at Ang Mo Kio

Then we took a bus to MacRitchie.. Was praying hard for the weather and indeed God is merciful and gracious enough to hold the rain until we finished the entire hiking. I almost cant believe this, God is so so so good... REmembered the BBQ at Chun Rong's place, God also blessed us by stopping the rain when we started the BBQ...

Today He demostrated His great love for us again by holding the rain until we stepped out of MacRitchie.. Even Chun Rong also testified for God's faithfulness and great love for us.. hee.. ;p

I really cant help but to give thanks to God!! Thanks be to Daddy God!! YOU R Awesome!

As we hiked at MacRitchie Reservoir we talked alot.. Of course, we also perspired alot.. hee.. He was so much into the ecosystem thingy.. I think he could be a walking encyclopedia.. hee.. =)

Anyway, we hiked for almost 5 km before we reached the Tree-Top Walk.. It was so good.. the View was so so so good.. Just hope that the walk could be a much longer one.. I, as a mere human, am simply GREEDY, ya?

Then as the HEAVY RAIN came down, we tried to find a place to hide from the rain... Besides us was the Singapore Island Country Club but there were signages stating "Private Property No Trespassing"

We decided to still dash into a place to seek shelter because I justified: "If I am to fall sick becuase of the rain and no shelter, WHO is going to answer to NTU? And if Chun Rong falls sick, who is going to answer to all the patients?" haha with that justification, we just ran in and hide outside the motor room.. hee :p What a self-righteous and self-centered justification.. hahaha.. Sorry for that, Lord. Pls forgive me.

Then I sang: "Rain Rain go away, come again another day".. Then the rain subsided.. haha Then we decided to walk out to the main road and then took a cab to Orchard for our ICE CREAM feast! =) Very nice.. Chun Rong treated me and brother Calvin to Fondue.. Very very nice.

There were so many first time's'!! We two went to MacRitchie together for the first time, we went to the treetop walk for the frist time and we had fondue for the first time!! PRaise be to God for the provison. =)

What a nice way to start the new year with. =)
