Winning Souls!

This evening, I attended an evening seminar on personal evangelism conducted by Church of Our Saviour -- It's all about WINNING.. winning what? Winning souls over for Christ! Oh man, Pastor David Allbritton was a "powerful" speaker. He spoke with such conviction and compassion for mankind. Really, through him, Christ is illuminated.

During the Altar Call, I've decided to go forth, said my sinner's prayer once again and be blessed by God once again. Today, 14 March 2006, Daniel Goh Kiat Kuan is a new creation once again. =) I know I am all well-forgiven for every sin I committed before 14 March 2006.

Moving forward, I pray that Lord Father will enable me to be a soul-winner like Ps David Allbritton. Loving Singapore - block by block. Such a beautiful theme, I teared when I watched the video.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for your forgiveness through the Great Attorney Lord Jesus. I am found in Your favour because I am loved by Jesus. Thank You Lord Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide me and bring me close to Your side.

I understand that evangelism is tough, but nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). It is not me who is converting lost souls but Your Holy Spirit (1Corinthians 3:6), dear Father God. Let me be the instrument in Your Great Commission Blueprint, I am willing.

All these while, You've shown me my niche of evangelism through personal testimony and blogging. May You show me other ways to be used by You to preach the good news to the poor, bind the brokenhearted, recover the sight of the blind, proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18-19). Bring them the good news about Your Kingdom and receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.

Have mercy on us, the sinners. May everlasting destruction and hell be departed from us, humanity now and forever in Jesus' Saving Name! Amen.

Help me to be grounded in Your Word so that I could use Your Word as Sword (Ephesians 6: 17) against the enemy who came to kill, steal and destroy (John 10: 10) from You. Equip us with the Armour of God (Eph 6: 17)and bring us together as a battalion, as an Army of God, guarding each other as we enter into the battleground to win over the lost souls.

Let us be brother-keepers especially to believers and not cause each other to stumble in the Name of Jesus. Grant us the Spirit of discernment and obedience to walk in the light of Your Glory!

Let us, the children of Light, be Your channels to shine forth light into this world of darkness.
