God's Blessings!

Aunt (my dad's younger sister) came over last nite. She knew it was my birthday and I'm celebrating at home this year so she wanted to come over with her three kids. Aunt then blessed me with a red packet. =) **touched**

The moment, I saw her, I could tell that she aged alot since the last time I met her during Chinese New Year.. My heart ached. As far as I remembered, I was quite close to Aunt. Aunt also affirmed the "Honour Your Parents" article which I blogged the other day and I emailed many people this article. She said she almost teared.. The way she said it, was so funny.. haha..

Anyway, I do sense strongly that there are some family issues in her family but she never verbalises it and I didnt probe further. But Cam is rite to point out, I need to spend some time with Aunt and share her issues, if she is willing to open up. Meanwhile, I will keep her and her family in prayer. God, have mercy and watch over them. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

姑姑，God bless you and He loves you. May you and your family come to know and receive Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour one day in His timing and His way =). Only God could solve our problems, untie the knots in our hearts. I'm sure Jesus loves to meet you and your family individually there over at the other side of the river. =)

This morning, in Church, I was blessed by Sister Huifen with this beautiful gift. A stained glass bookmark & a card.. hehehe.. the Wording was very apt, appropriate and meaningful for what I am going through now..

Then this evening, I went out with a group of Christian Brothers. They blessed me with a great deal of goodies.. hehehe..

1) Fellowship Dinner @ Eunos

The zhu-chao (煮炒) was very delicious¬ Thanks brothers, esp the man-tou with chilli crab was simply YUMMY! Chunrong drove us around in Cam's vehicle.. It was a very funny experience.. Chunrong and I also went "ho-lland" abit when we went to pick up Cam's vehicle after dinner.. hehe.. =)

2) Fellowship continued @ East Coast

Then we sardined into Cam's bread car hehehe.. then CR drove us off to East Coast.. hahaha i must say it was such a fun ride.. =)

3) Birthday Cake

Cam brought a cheesecake (yummy) hehe Anneh and I just loved cheesecake.. slurp!

4) Birthday Blessings

(i) Corporate Birthday Card

Brother Calvin, Daryl, Cam, Chunrong, Anneh wrote on the card and Brother Reuben and Brother Sean were not able to join us but nevertheless I thank them for the sms-es! Love ya all! Hmmm.. The Card was titled: "Happy Birthday to a Terrific Guy"

Actually I have a hard time accepting it but I know brothers love daniel and daniel loves brothers tooo.. *grin*

(ii) Blessing Card & SMS

Brother Calvin passed me a little black and white card from Brother Linus :) It came as a very pleasant surprise to me cos I thought he wouldnt sms me anymore le. Of course the sms and card were relayed to me through Brother Calvin but it was nevertheless a very great blessing from the Lord and seriously, I can't expect more from the Lord and from brother. =)

(iii) "Kissable" Birthday Card

This card, I dont tell you who it is from.. hahaa *scandalous* but nope no hanky-panky.. it's just a card to encourage me and cheer me up! This brother is so thoughtful sooooooo soooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooo thoughtful! Thanks brother.. Shan't disclose your identity to protect the innocent.. haha..

(iv) Don Moen CD

Oh man, I must say it is such a great blessing to receive this gift. This is really a great gift from the group. I always believe Don Moen is a great singer for the Lord! I'm very blessed by the gift!

(v) Soft Toy

Brother Cam drove me home and on my way, I shared some of my family problems with him... Then at the Shell Station, he gave me this cute soft toy which I wanted since like late last year... But I was denied of it cos I was told that I shouldn't have too many soft toys.. But nevertheless, Brother Cam blessed me with one.

Mum said it was a cute toy, and asked me, wah your brothers still treat you like little boy ar.. I was thinking... hahaha oh yah.. I'm a man but still a boy in the eyes of the Lord. Haha..

Anyway, thanks brother Cam. Really.. thanks for the little message too. I thank God too. =)

Finally, this evening's fellowship dinner marks a beautiful end of my 24th Birthday celebrations! Thanks God for everything.
