Last nite @ East Coast, Brother Calvin reminded me of a beautiful hymn. This song was found in one of the CD blessed by Brother Kok Ann from Evangel Baptist Church. =)
Father God, forgive me for all that I've done that displease You and caused Your Son Lord Jesus to be nailed the cross. Father God, please help me to walk in a way that is acceptable and pleaseable in Your eyes. God, help me to love You and love Your people through social holiness through the empowerment of Your Holy Spirit.
Thank You for this love vast as the ocean, in fact, nothing in this world could even come near to contain or measure the love You have for mankind. Absolutely nothing! Heavenly Father, thank You and we praise You in Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.
Here is Love, Vast as the Ocean
Here is love, vast as the ocean
Loving kindness as a flood
When the prince of life our ransom
Shed for us His precious blood
Who His love will not remember
Who can cease to sing His praise
He will never be forgotten
Throughout heaven’s eternal day
On the mount of crucifixion
Fountains opened deep and wide
From the floodgates of God’s mercy
Flowed a vast and gracious tide
Grace and love like mighty rivers
Flowed incessant from above
Heaven’s peace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love
Words: William Rees (1802 - 1883)
Music: Dr Robert Lowry (1826 - 1899)
