Abba Father,
Blessed Father's Day to You.
Thank You for creating me and making me in Your image and after Your likeness.
Thank You for giving me Your Son, Jesus to me as a Brother, Friend, Lord and Saviour.
Thank You for inscribing me in the palm of Your hand. What a privilege to be Your child.
Thank You for giving me Your Word which is the truth and the guide in everything I do.
Thank You for removing the heart of stone, replacing it with a heart of flesh and pouring out Your Holy Spirit and let Your Spirit indwell and infill me the moment I receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
Abba Father,
Thank You for always being there for me, when I cried out to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. As a child of God, I still sin against You, thank You for forgiving me in the Name of Jesus. Thank You for healing me in the Name of Jesus. Thank You for first loving me that I am able to love You and worship You in spirit and in truth.
Lord,
My struggles are nothing compared to Your unfailing love. There may be trying moments, there may be moments when I deliberately sinned against You but Lord, You never forsake me. You hold me in Your hands and You allow the Holy Spirit to teach me and help me to turn from my wicked ways. Thank You, my Father.
This is a renewing process. Father, help me to be conformed to the ways that Your ways and let me be changed to be more and more like Your Son Jesus Christ moment by moment, day by day. Help me to let all striving cease and teach me to do Your will and not my will but Yours be done.
Help me Lord not to walk in the counsel of the wicked, not to stand in the path of sinners, not to sit in the seat of scoffers. Help me to obey You and meditate Your Law day and night, then shall I be like a tree planted by the rivers of (living) water, bringing forth its fruit (of the Holy Spirit) in its season whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever I do shall prosper.
Lead me not into temptation but deliver me from the evil. For thine is the kingdom, glory and power forever and ever. Amen.
Once again, Blessed Father's Day, my Lord. =)
